General: The TDI CPR-1st Course is a basic CPR and First Aid Training program, providing the student training in essential emergency response skills.
Topics Include: The CPR-1st Course combines one-rescuer adult CPR with other basic first aid skills, including treatment for bleeding, fractures and sprains, burns and bites.
This program includes ample opportunity for hands-on practice, and the student will learn the basic ingredients to be included in a personal first aid kit suited for diving.
This program is highly recommended as the minimum emergency management training for all divers. It also fulfills the prerequisite certification requirements for the PADI Rescue Diver course, the DAN Diving Emergency Management Provider course, and the PADI Divemaster course.
Prerequisites: Minimum Age is 12. (Must be a certified diver to take this course).
Class Overview: The CPR -1st Course is conducted in a single evening, 7:00pm to about 10:00pm, and it is typically scheduled on a Friday. Contact the shop for dates.
