Schedule of Available Classes

General:  This course covers the benefits and hazards associated with the use of nitrox by the recreational diver.  You will learn how to calculate the best "mix" for your diving needs, and how to safely use 22% to 40% Oxygen in your SCUBA cylinders. All theory is also explained.  The primary benefit from the use of Nitrox is expanded no-decompression limits.

Prerequisites:  Certified Diver, Minimum Age 15 Years.

Class Overview:

Session # 1 (7:00pm-9:30pm):  Classroom Session at Elite Divers

Session # 2 (7:00pm-9:30pm):  Classroom Session, Final Exam at Elite Divers

Gear Required:   None

Costs You Can Expect:    Please call Elite Divers Directly at (973) 586-2214 for Class Fee, which includes all instruction, textbook, and the processing of your certification card. 

Reminder:    You need to sign up in advance ($50 non-refundable deposit).  Pick up textbook at Elite Divers.  You need to read chapters #1 thru #5 before the first class.  Read chapters #6 thru #10 before the second class.  There is an Open Book final exam. You need to complete all knowledge reviews for each session.

What's Next?  From here, your choices are completely varied, depending on what your interests are.   Look into other "Specialties" curriculums, such as U/W Photography, Environmentalist courses, etc.   Of course, the next level Nitrox Course (Advanced Nitrox) might be a great idea too.  Give Charlie or Nick a ring and discuss it further!
