Schedule of Available Classes

General:   The Tech Diving Int'l (TDI) Dive Medic Course was actually designed by two of our staff instructors at Elite Divers, and it has been formally adopted and sanctioned by Technical Diving International.    The course combines essential material from multiple sources, resulting in a uniquely comprehensive emergency management program that is specifically geared towards dive-related incidents;  though originally designed to meet the needs of public safety dive teams, this course has now been approved for all certified divers.   The curriculum includes an overview of dive physics and physiology as related to DCI and other barotrauma, one and two rescuer CPR, automated external defibrillators, oxygen and advanced oxygen first aid (including advanced resuscitation techniques), field neurological examinations, general first aid, and first aid for hazardous marine life injuries.  Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive both the TDI Dive Medic certification and the DAN Diving Emergency Management Provider certification (this DAN certification is a combination of four other DAN courses).
