General: This new SDI course combines critical emergency management skills into a single training program. The information is presented in an easy-to-understand format, so that it can be quickly and effectively applied in any diving or non-diving medical emergency. This program is highly recommended for all individuals directly or indirectly involved in scuba diving or other aquatic activities.
Prerequisites: Minimum Age is 10. You do not need to be a certified diver to take this course.
Class Overview: Session # 1 (7:00pm-11:00pm): Class Session at Elite Divers
Gear Required: None. Please wear comfortable, casual clothing.
Student Kit: Includes the student manual, knowledge quest booklet, and an “action slate” for ready reference; your student kit will be provided at sign-up.
Costs You Can Expect: Please call Elite Divers Directly at (973) 586-2214 for Class Fee, which includes your Student Package and certification processing.
Reminder: You need to study the material at home, watch the DVD, and complete the knowledge reviews. The class session at Elite Divers will be hands-on only. You need to be prepared for this class! You need to register in advance with a $50 non-refundable deposit for the course (and the $30 refundable deposit for the DVD).
What's Next? Though all divers are encouraged to participate, those who take this course are normally on the track to become a Rescue Diver and/or Dive Professional. Please call the shop directly to discuss this further.
